Have your say on travel and transport at the University - complete our annual travel survey
Annual travel surveys are being launched for the first time since the pandemic, to help us gather information on staff and student travel habits, including how people travel to and from the University, how often they travel and what modes of transport they use. The surveys will also seek opinions on sustainable travel schemes and initiatives.

Cutting our travel emissions
Whether it’s commuting to University, travelling to international conferences, or students going home at the end of the academic year, travel is one of the largest contributors to our Scope 3 emissions. Sustainability Programme Manager, Sally Shaw, explains the journey ahead for how we can cut our travel emissions and sets out some of measures which are in place to help us change how we get around.

Promoting sustainable travel to reach net zero
To help us achieve our aim of being the most cycle-friendly campus in the UK, we have a wide range of cycling initiatives and incentives available to staff. We also recently celebrated Bike Week.
