CPW-Liverpool:
I am the Liverpool-based course co-director for the Cell Physiology Workshop. The CPW was founded 40 years ago by Dr David Ogden and Prof Colin Brownlee and was hosted by the Marine Biological Association in Plymouth. This annual course teaches the fundamentals of electrophysiology and attracts students and teaching staff from around the world. The course provides a unique hands-on teaching experience of many different types of electrophysiological recording for experts in the field, together with a a comprehensive series of lectures on the underlying theory and analysis of these data.
2024 will mark the first time that the course has run in Liverpool. (Thanks to the support from the Company of Biologists for the continued generous support of the workshop).
