About

I hold a Bachelor's (BSc) and Master's (MSc) degree in mechanical engineering, specializing in energy systems. My doctoral research, completed in 2022 at the Center for Sustainable Technologies (CST), Ulster University, focused on the Variable Speed Heat Pump Compressor for Demand Side Management and Network Stability, addressing climate change and sustainability issues. Currently, I serve as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Liverpool, leveraging over 13 years of expertise encompassing lecturing, coaching, research, program development, engineering labs, and project management. My proficiency aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and my efforts actively support the following SDGs: a) Climate Action, b) Affordable and Clean Energy, c) Quality Education.

Post my PhD, I engaged in research on Food Cold Chain Refrigeration at London South Bank University. Prior to embarking on my doctoral journey, I dedicated five years (2013-2018) as a full-time Lecturer in Energy at the Department of Mechanical and Energy Engineering, College of Engineering, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, KSA. I am honored to hold the title of Fellow (FHEA) from Advance HE, acknowledging my commitment to the UK Professional Standards Framework for teaching and learning support in higher education.
