Professional Activities
I have produced consultancy reports for three local authorities concerning member allowances and also produced a report for the UK Changing Union Project, which was used to facilitate the constitutional and institutional reform of Welsh governance.
I am a member of the Political Studies Association (UK).
I have acted as a referee for a wide range of journals, which include Urban Studies, Political Studies, Policy and Politics, Public Policy and Administration, Local Government Studies, Public Administration and Studies in Higher Education.
In 2022 I was a judge for the Walter Bagehot Prize, which is awarded by the Political Studies Associated for the best dissertation in British Politics.
In 2021 I was appointed External Examiner for the BSc Management degree at the University of Leicester.
In 2017, I validated a course at De Montefort University
In 2017, I was external examiner for a PhD at the University of Teeside
