Professor Beresford undertakes a wide range of undergraduate and post-graduate educational commitments. He supervises Masters and PhD Doctoral students in Child Health-related disciplines, and supervises post-doctoral research scientists.

Professor Beresford is academic supervisor for a number of NIHR Academic Trainees and Academic Foundation, Academic Clinical Fellow, and Academic Clinical Lecturer levels.
