Health: the patient experience and service design
Collaborating with multiple hospices and palliative care units across the country, projects have examined ways to capture patient experiences with results used to impact service design
Currently working on two collaborative projects:
Grant funded project with East Cheshire Hospice to launch a new service for patients with dementia and their families.
Collaboration with the University's Institute of Life Course and Medical Sciences and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen Hospitals NHS Trust, this project will examine new ways to inform Advance Care Planning
Lived experiences of people bereaved by COVID-19
This research examines the ways in which being bereaved by COVID is different. Working with the COVID Bereaved Families for Justice, the work has been presented to Parliament and used to help inform the Terms of Reference for the forthcoming Statutory UK COVID-19 Inquiry.
