Professional Activities

One of my main areas of interest is forensic and postmortem radiography, especially non accidental injury/ suspected physical abuse (NAI/SPA) and victim identification.

I currently serve as education officer for the UK branch of the International Association of Forensic Radiographers (http://www.forensicradiography.com).
I am a member of the UK Disaster Victim Identification (UK-DVI) team, trained to respond and assist in mass fatalities disasters in the UK and abroad. I am also communications officer for British Association of Human Identification (BAHID)

More recently I have been lucky enough to be invited to become a reviewer for the Institute of Population Health Research Ethics Committee.

Outside of University of Liverpool, I am a peer reviewer for Radiography, Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Science and Journal of Radiological Protection.
