About

Lorraine Molyneux is a Senior Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry in the School of Dentistry, and a member of the Institute of Life Course and Medical Sciences and the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at the University of Liverpool.

Her teaching and research interests include dental caries diagnosis and management and minimum intervention dentistry. She teaches and lectures at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in these areas. Her research interests also extend to dental education, particularly clinical skills development.

She supervises doctoral research students, and undertakes collaborative research with other world-leading universities. She is the Academic Lead for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for the School of Dentistry and component lead for pre-clinical skills development.

She holds a number of internal and external assessment roles and is Vice Chair of Dental Schools Council Assessment Alliance.
