Motherhood and Family consumption
My primary research interests focus on the experiences of motherhood and family consumption. Within this theme I have explored the experiences of South Asian mothers in the UK, the role of siblings within family consumption and grand-fatherhood and consumer socialisation. I am also really interested in the role that mothers play in family consumption, especially during times of uncertainty and resource scarcity (particularly Brexit, Covid). I would welcome opportunities to work with multidisciplinary partners and PhD students linked to these themes.
