I graduated as a physiotherapist from the Queen Elizabeth School of Physiotherapy, Birmingham in 1994 and worked at Aintree University Hospitals NHS Trust from 1994-2013. I worked as an Extended Scope Practitioner at Aintree from 2004-2013 specialising in musculoskeletal diagnosis and triage. In 2006 I completed an MSc in Manual Therapy at the University of Manchester. I have been a full time lecturer at the University of Liverpool since August 2013. I currently teach students on the BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy programme and pre-reg MSc Physiotherapy in the School of Allied Health Professions and Nursing. I am a Fellow of the HEA and am currently studying for a Professional Doctorate in Health at the University of Liverpool.
