Professional Activities

He is a member of the New and Emerging Respiratory Virus Threats Advisory Group (NERVTAG) that advises the UK government on the threat posed by new and emerging respiratory viruses. He was a co-opted member of this group for COVID-19 and a participant at the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE).
