Teaching
Gianfranco has been actively contributing to the delivery of research methods seminars for postgraduate students in the department. Currently, he is mentoring undergraduate students on a project exploring how pre-teens engage with news stories, with a particular focus on their ability to spot fake news. Additionally, Gianfranco has supervised postgraduate students enrolled in the MSc in Data Science and Communication programme, guiding them through their dissertations. He is also supervising a PhD student researching digital literacy in higher education in both China and the UK.
