Research

Liz Perkins is currently undertaking research on self-harm/suicide in children and adults. She is also supporting research on mental health in prisons. She is also currently undertaking research with the University's Veterinary School focusing on public health type interventions with animals.

I am currently working on Mental Health projects in schools and prisons

Service user, patient and professional decision making

I am interested in understanding how people make the decisions they make regarding health behaviours eg vaccination

I am interested in the role animals play in the lives of human beings
