2022 President of Inter-noise 2022. the International Congress on Noise Control Engineering, held over three days at the
Scottish Event Campus, with 1250 participants and 800 papers presented.
2018-2020 President of the Institute of Acoustics; with approximately a 3000 membership of scientists, engineers and consultants.
2020-2022 Immediate Past President of the Institute of Acoustics.
2017 Co-Chair and Proceedings Editor, International Congress in Acoustics and Vibration (ICSV), London; with over 1000
delegates and 935 papers.
2015- External Reviewer, Swedish Research Council, Mechanical Engineering Panel.
Principal UK Expert, European Standards Working Group CEN/TC 126 WG7: Structure-borne noise; meetings twice-yearly
throughout Europe.
