Treasa Kearney is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Liverpool Management School. In 2013, she completed her fully funded PhD in Marketing at Technology University Dublin (TUD) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning from Keele University. She has taught across many marketing modules, ranging from Marketing Research to Contemporary Retail Environment. As Director of Education for the marketing group, she leads initiatives to enhance learning environments and promotes student and staff well-being.
Treasa has received numerous accolades for her teaching and is a recognized educator, awarded Senior Fellow of the HEA in December 2020. Her research focuses on the area of Transformation Service Research (TSR), value co-creation and customer service experiences. She has worked on projects relating to food poverty, times of conflict and Higher Education. She has presented internationally at partner universities like XJTLU and shares her insights on pedagogical strategies through podcasts. She is Associate Editor for Developing Academic Practice and is a reviewer for several marketing and education journals (e.g. Journal of Service Research, Journal of Service Management, Journal of Marketing Education).
