Lecture Course - Core and Options

You are required to fulfil lecture-based courses to a maximum of 5 points. 4 points of these are compulsory:

• BIOL401
• BIOL402
• BIOL411
• BIOL301
• BIOL322

You have a choice of 1 further point from courses totalling 3 points. Examine the course synopses in the following pages carefully.

Using the form provided, hand in your course choices by Friday of Week 1. For administrative reasons, it is not possible to run courses for less than 3 students. Please ensure that if you pick half-point courses that you fill in all 4 choices ranked 1 to 4 so that we can assign you quickly. However, it is likely that you will get your first choices, since the Biochemists and Geneticists are making the same choices.

If you need to discuss your choices, make an appointment with the Director of the Course.
