About
I am a Senior Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Public Health and Policy, and a MRC Clinical Fellow. My research areas of interest include disability, with a particular focus on employment, injuries, and preterm birth, and I have published peer reviewed research about injuries, healthcare public health and health protection. I have also worked with the World Health Organisation (WHO) Collaborating Centre for Policy Research on Social Determinants of Health on reports about health equity and working conditions.
My fellowsship work involves looking at the generation of health inequalities related to preterm birth. My research focusses on mediation of inequalities and the interaction between preterm birth and socioeconomic status.
