I am a Senior Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Public Health and Policy, and the co-theme lead for Public Health and Prevention in the ARC NWC. My research areas of interest include disability, with a particular focus on employment, injuries, and preterm birth, and I have published peer reviewed research about injuries, healthcare public health and health protection. I have also worked with the World Health Organisation (WHO) Collaborating Centre for Policy Research on Social Determinants of Health on reports about health equity and working conditions.
My research focusses on mediation of inequalities and the interaction between preterm birth and socioeconomic status.
