About
I am a research assistant within the Department of Health Data Science here at The University of Liverpool. I am interested in the development and validation of clinical prediction models within epilepsy.
I currently contribute to three ongoing projects:
PRISE study - Research that aims to develop a clinically useful web tool for predicting the number of seizures a person with epilepsy will have in a timeframe.
PREDNEP study - Research that aims to develop, update and validate prediction models for seizure remission, treatment failure and drug-resistant epilepsy in patients with newly diagnosed epilepsy.
IVARFlu study - A retrospective analysis aiming to identify whether influenza vaccines have an effect on antibiotic prescribing.
Whilst working full time researching, I am working towards my PhD part time. My PhD aims to develop a framework for predicting recurrent event outcomes using longitudinal data.
