About

I provide statistical expertise to the design, conduct and analysis of clinical trials from phase I to phase III across a wide range of clinical areas from cancer to orthopaedics. Prior to joining LCTC I was a Senior Medical Statistician at the Oxford Clinical Trials Research Unit.

My methodological research interests include randomisation approaches for clinical trials, in particular understanding whether the methods we currently use are optimal. As a member of the Randomization Innovative Design Scientific Working Group, I have collaborated with researchers worldwide on several projects about randomisation methods and their implementation.

I completed a PhD at King’s College London, where my research concerned the development of a statistical approach to combine data from clinical trials with data from routine clinical practice to give more accurate estimates of treatment effects.
