About

I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Department of Psychology at the University of Liverpool, working on a project investigating population-based obesity interventions to improve diet and reduce socioeconomic inequalities in health.

I completed my PhD at the Centre for Epidemiology Versus Arthritis at the University of Manchester in 2022. My thesis aimed to understand the relationships between obesity, socioeconomic position and arthritis, using large national datasets. I used numerous quantitative methods, including Cox regression analysis, structural equation modelling, causal mediation analysis and linear mixed models in Stata and R.

I also hold a MSc in Public Health and a BSc in Health and Life Science from ‘De Vrije Universiteit’ in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
