As a digital education specialist at the Centre for Innovation in Education, I focus on blending technology with pedagogy to make learning accessible, engaging, and innovative. My work spans generative AI in education, immersive digital learning environments, and strategies for boosting student engagement through collaboration and co-creation. Leading the University’s Generative AI Working Group, I contribute insights to the Digital Education Advisory Group to guide the ethical and effective integration of AI across our teaching and learning practices.
With a strong foundation in digital multimedia and educational innovation, I’ve designed learning environments that meet diverse educational needs and support inclusive teaching methods. Beginning in the Digital Resources Team, I led video production and multimedia initiatives that honed my skills in creating accessible, informative content for learners of all backgrounds. These experiences instilled in me a dedication to digital inclusivity and the potential of technology to enhance educational equity.
My current projects include exploring generative AI for personalised learning pathways, designing immersive digital spaces that enrich the student experience, and implementing collaborative tools that foster active participation. My commitment to inclusivity drives all aspects of my work, ensuring that emerging technologies not only enhance learning but do so for all students. I am also deeply invested in research on digital pedagogies, particularly how technology can transform educational spaces into more inclusive and dynamic environments for everyone.
