I graduated with a degree in Orthoptics from the University of Liverpool in 2011. I worked as an Orthoptist at three trusts : Basingstoke , Wigan and Warrington & Halton Hospitals. I worked closely with children with SEN and in glaucoma clinics. I worked as lead clinical tutor running the placements for undergraduate orthoptists. I also worked as Deputy Head and Head Orthoptist. I also had a secondment in NHSE as a Regional Clinical Fellow working in specialised commissioning as well as in the North West Nursing & AHP workforce team.
In September 2024 I commenced my role as a lecturer in Orthoptics at the University of Liverpool.
