About

Dr. Rachel Ashman is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing and Deputy Associate Dean Research. She has also served as Postgraduate Lead and creator and director of the recently launched MSc in Advanced Marketing. Rachel obtained her PhD in Marketing from the University of Manchester. Through a cross-disciplinary approach, her interests spans consumer research and management, exploring new technologies, markets, consumers, and ways of working. She has published in journals such as the Journal of Consumer Research, British Journal of Management, and Gender, Work and Organization, among others. Her work has been funded by the ESRC IAA, Innovate UK, and industry partners. Rachel currently serves as an Associate Editor for Marketing Theory.
