About
Paula started work in veterinary practice in 1991 and, after finally finding a training centre, qualified in 1998. She went on to become head nurse at a local practice and had a keen interest in training other veterinary nurses, after having found it so difficult to find training herself.
After spending many years training veterinary nurses and moving more into the management side of practice she decided she wanted to get back to nursing and took up a part-time position at the Small Animal Teaching Hospital, which involved working with many of the various services.
After a time as the Pharmacy nurse at the Hospital, Paula moved within the hospital and is now working in the Oncology team.
