About

I am a human geographer and I have interests in health, embodiment, materiality, surveillance, social media and qualitative methods. My research particularly relates to the social and cultural aspects of digital health. I completed my BA and MA at the University of Liverpool, as well as my ESRC funded Ph.D. titled: 'Healthy lifestyles or 'dangerous competition' - self-tracking and the geographies of surveillance and materiality in the lives of young people.' I teach on modules with a focus on social and cultural geographies and critical public health.
