Franklyn N. Egbe is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Professor Benedict Michael's Infection Neuroscience laboratory.
His main research focus is assessing inflammatory and neurological biomarkers in COVID-19 patients with neurological complications.
With a strong network of global research contacts, Franklyn Nkongho is passionate about using scientific research to improve health conditions in LMICs.
Previously a Research Fellow at the University of Lincoln and Queen’s University Belfast and Head of the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory at the Tuberculosis Reference Laboratory in Cameroon.
Franklyn has previously worked as part of multi-disciplinary teams to deliver clinical trials and biomedical research in Africa and to increase laboratory capacity building in the molecular diagnostics of infectious diseases.
