Professional Activities

I have extensive experience of practice, public engagement, outreach, impact and knowledge exchange activities, and act as a mentor to ECRs as part of the NECS Sound and Music in Media Workgroup and SCMS Sound and Music SIG. I co-directed a film and television education outreach programme for the British Film Institute at Scotland’s BFI Mediatheque, and have experience organizing and chairing public events and discussions at FACT Liverpool (as part of Liverpool Irish Festival), Glasgow Film Theatre and Chester International Film Festival, and even performed stand-up comedy at Bright Club, part of the Beltane Public Engagement Network.
