I have a proven track record of sustained authentic learning, teaching and assessment at levels 4 to 9.
I am committed to authentic learning and teaching and in line with this design and deliver learning experiences that include service user involvement. I also introduced simulated practice placements to the occupational therapy BSc (Hons) 2020 programme, following piloting the concept as part of a project. Simulated placements are now an integral and well evaluated part of the curriculum.
I have a particular interest in employability and have developed and led modules which aim to prepare students for newly qualified practice. I consistently use research informed teaching to inspire students.
