About

My research aims to improve wellbeing among youth in an accessible and culturally-sensititive way.

So far, I have conducted research in five main areas:

1) the role of psychosocial factors in depression among children and young people;

2) social factors related to youth career development;

3) mental health and psychometrics in cross-cultural contexts (e.g., self-compassion);

4) the effectiveness of online writing intervention;

5) using museum youth programmes to improve mental health and career development.

I would be keen to hear from protential PhD students who wish to pursue a PhD within these areas.
