Research
I am a mixed methods researcher from qualitative interviews focused on experience and process through to pragmatic intervention trials. My interests and focus are varied, but focus on applied health and social care research (particularly in relation to dementia, older adults and frailty); Health Inequalities and Equity. Co-production with Public, service user professional and practitioner experts by experience are integral to my research, supporting the key thread of ensuring the work has a pathway to impact. Much of the work is in community and primary care and the interface with specialist care and public health. Topics include mental health, dementia, covid and long covid, long term conditions, substance misuse among a varied portfolio. Work is in UK and globally..University research page.
I am interested in seeing proposals for funded PhDs in these topic areas.
