Professional Activities

I am actively engaged in several programs to promote public engagement.

For example as part of a half-day educational program on "Boys, we talk to about cancer", organised by the North West Cancer Research Centre - University of Liverpool, I delivered a lecture on prostate cancer for a lay audience.

I have given speeches at local school prize days and spoken to fund raisers and supporters for Cancer Research UK, and North West Cancer Research (including being the scientist guest speaker at the Walk for Life in Chester on two occasions)

I support the Liverpool Scholars Program, aimed at promoting access as part of the widening participation program at the University of Liverpool
