About

I am a Clinical Lecturer (NIHR) and a senior specialist registrar in Dental Public Health within University of Liverpool and NHSE Healthcare Public Health Team (NW). I am particularly interested in the role of habit and how habit formation theory can be applied to the dental context to establish desirable healthy behaviours.

After graduating from the University of Manchester in 2011, I worked in a number of different dental settings before coming to the University of Liverpool in 2014. Since then, I have completed by MPH in Public Health and my PhD in the application of habit formation theory to oral health. My current role as Clinical Lecturer involves undergraduate Dental Public Health teaching alongside my research and clinical activity.
