Teaching
Summary
I have been involved in university teaching since 2001, delivering modules at the Politecnico di Torino, the Bartlett School of Planning at UCL, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and London South Bank University. Over this period, I have delivered many modules at Bachelors’ and Masters’ levels - teaching in architecture and planning schools - led field-courses - to the UK and European destinations - and supervised a large number of masters and bachelors projects / dissertations. I have delivered traditional lectures, run discussion seminars, coordinated student projects (usually on urban design), contributed to urban design and architectural crits and been the personal tutor for students at all levels. Throughout my career I have taught across the curriculum in subjects as diverse as architectural design, urban design, planning history, housing development, urban regeneration and urban sustainability and I now aim to bring these various perspectives into my urban design teaching at the University of Liverpool.
