Lynn Evans leads the University's online education portfolio and partnership with Kaplan Open Learning. The University of Liverpool is recognised as a leader in 100% online postgraduate education. Over 20,000 students have graduated from our portfolio of career enhancing online masters and doctoral programmes in 200+ countries worldwide. In 2024, the University was ranked Gold in the THE World Ranking of Online Learning Providers, and the Online Leadership Team was awarded a prestigious Advance HE Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE award).
Lynn is a partnerships and performance specialist, with 20+ years experience in creating value across sectors and in multidisciplinary environments, including media, charities, law and higher education. She was one of the first non-lawyers to be appointed to the board of a legal practice in England and Wales and, since 2012, has led a number of high profile and strategic initiatives for the University of Liverpool. Her absolute passion is helping people and organisations to unlock their potential and improve their reach and impact, working purposefully and collaboratively across organisational and disciplinary boundaries to create new sources of value and continually raise the bar on performance and possibility.
Lynn is a Member of the Institute of Leadership, a founding member of the University's Leadership Coaching Panel and a Mentor for the UK Government's Help to Grow development programme for SMEs. She is a regular conference speaker about online education with special interest in partnerships and student engagement.
