Research

My research focus is human-animal interactions, animal-computer interactions and companion animal welfare.
Recent research focus includes: Overseas rescue dogs, canine ageing, responsible dog ownership, game-based learning, one-health education, and gender equality.

I use both quantitative (epidemiological) and qualitative (sociological) research methods.

Animal-computer interaction

Animal-Computer Interaction (ACI) is a field that studies how animals interact with digital technologies, focusing on designing and developing technologies that benefit animals and foster positive interspecies relationships.
