About

I came to Leahurst Equine hospital at the age of 18, after growing up with our family horses and working at the local livery yard for most of my childhood. I became apart of the equine technician team who work the yards looking after all the inpatients and have done this role for nearly 16 years. During my time at Leahurst I have been on many courses to help me progress in my role, one being Artificial insemination in mares and was held at Twemlows stud. Another course I passed was how to operate and run the MRI machine which was held by Hallmarq at Newmarket, I am now the lead MRI Technician and scan around 3 horses each week. Outside of Leahurst I like to spend lots of time with my family, dogs and partner. my partner and I spend as much time as we can travelling, visiting as many countries and cities as possible.
