About
I have worked at the University of Liverpool since 2018 in teaching and coordination roles within General English (Asylum Seekers and Refugees) English for Specific Purposes (ESP) (Nursing and Business), Academic English (Pre-sessional and and In-sessional). I have a wealth of educational experience, focusing on curriculum design, material development, teaching and learning, and student support. I worked in the health and business sectors in Spain teaching ESP for 15 years previous to entering Higher Education.
Currently, I am working with colleagues in the Nursing department developing a collaborative approach to discipline specific academic support which aims to cultivate a deeper working relationship between the module lead and the academic support tutor through co-teaching and module development.
I am also currently engaged in ongoing training to develop skills as an educational developer building e-learning resources for discipline specific ISE provision using Adobe Captivate software.
