About
I am currently a Doctoral Academic Teacher and PhD student within the Department of Psychology. I teach research methods and statistics, and act as an Academic Advisor to first, second and third year undergraduate students.
Within the Department of Psychology, I am a member of the Appetite and Obesity research group. My research interests primarily focus on identifying psychological determinants of food choices, in order to inform public health policies and interventions. For my PhD, I will be exploring whether or not exposure to the natural environment can influence food choices, while examining potential underlying mechanisms.
I attended the University of Liverpool, and completed my MPsycholSci (Hons) in 2021 (first class). Before commencing my current role, I worked for one year as a Research Assistant within the Appetite and Obesity research group examining the food environment and social inequalities in health.
