Research
My poetry criticism mainly focuses on anglophone poets (Irish, British, and American) from the 1930s to the present. I have a particular interest in the interface between poetry and various cultural forms/practices e.g. virtual worlds, folk drama (especially mumming), and food (gastro-criticism).
Research Interests
My literary research is mainly centred on Twentieth Century Poetry and on Irish Studies. My Creative Writing explores a number of areas, including online culture, virtual communities, and folk-plays.
