Jenn Kirby is a composer, performer, and music technologist, with compositional outputs including experimental electronic music, contemporary instrumental composition, electroacoustic music and avant-pop. With a research interest in embodiment, Jenn's creative practice involves making hybrid instrument, using sensors as interfaces to body movement, solo performance, and collaborating with dancers, visual artists and instrumentalists. Jenn teaches across music technology and music industries subjects areas.

Jenn’s music has been performed throughout Europe, North America and in parts of East Asia. She has been commissioned by Crash Ensemble, Larissa O'Grady, Evlana / New Music Dublin, Kirkos Ensemble, Glasshouse Ensemble, Tokyo Gen’On Project, among others. She has undertaken residencies with Cove Park, soundSCAPE Festival and National Theatre Wales and has released 4 solo albums (2 with pan y rosas discos) and 3 EPs. Her work has been described as “digital surrealism”, “intoxicatingly strange” and having a “sense of adventure and experimentalism”.
