Research
I am a post-doctoral research associate working within the Mental Health Research for Innovation centre (M-RIC). I work across the Mood Disorder and Mental Health Avatar research theme groups, helping to develop new services which link research outcomes with improved care for patients. My favourite part of this work is collaborating with expert patients who have lived experience of mental health problems.
My research interests focus mainly on depression: epidemiology, treatment in primary care, causes of persistent depression, Difficult to Treat Depression and antidepressant tapering and withdrawal. I am also interested in the overlap between poor mental health and neurodivergence.
