About
I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Public Health, Policy and Systems. I have a master's degree in Statistics, a master's degree in Economics, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Groningen.
To date, my research has focused on the interrelation between cognitive skills, early-life socioeconomic circumstances, education and physical health outcomes over the lifespan, and, to some degree, on inference in the case of data clustered in few unbalanced clusters.
Over the past few years, I have developed a keen interest in determinants and consequences of serious mental conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar and schizoaffective disorder. My medium-term goal is to focus most of my future research on this topic.
