About
Following an academic career in developmental and regenerative medicine at the Universities of Liverpool, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and the University of Bath, I changed focus during and after the pandemic; working in the areas of international and UK innovations and partnerships supporting the University of Liverpool's Covid-19 response.
I now specialise in Health and Life Sciences Faculty Digital Communications promoting the University's strategic success and celebrating the achievements of our academic and student research communities which includes:
• Monitoring the Health and Life Sciences Communications departmental and institute e-mail addresses
• Creation of weekly and quarterly institute and departmental newsletters using mailchimp and other platforms.
• Working with our academics and students in the generation of online blogs and news stories
• Promotion of new research initiatives and celebrating grant awards via news content, social media campaigns including The Pandemic Institute The Pandemic Institute and Project Ares-UkraineProject Ares Ukraine
• Maintaining websites (CMS and HTML5)
• Faculty Social Media (Twitter, Youtube and LinkedIn accounts)
• Rich media content generation (videos, images)
• Video, photography and audio support of events and launches including pre-event publicity including the Scouse Science PodcastScouse Science Podcast (a monthly series of live debate of cutting-edge science in Liverpool and its wider impact on society).
