About

After gaining a BA (Hons) degree in Modern Languages and Literature (Italian, English, German) from Università degli Studi di Macerata in Italy, I moved to the UK to work as a Language Assistant, first at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston, and then at the University of Manchester, where I obtained a MPhil degree in Italian Studies and Drama. The dissertation was a study of the social and cultural influence and political relevance of State television in Italy, as identified through three adaptations of Charles Dickens’s novels.
I first arrived to Liverpool to work at Liverpool John Moores University as a lecturer of Italian, and since then I have been working extensively in Higher Education as well as in primary and secondary schools.
My main interest is in the language teaching and at the University of Liverpool I am involved with all the language modules, teaching students in first, second and final year.
