Professional Activities

As a director of the Europe and the World Centre I am very involved in public engagement through conferences and debates I organize through the Centre (see the Europe and the World Centre https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/europe-and-the-world/).
I provide regular commentaries to British and international press on the following subjects:
- the relationship between the UK and the European Union
- eastern European politics
- nationalism and ethnic conflict
- European integration
