Diana Cullell is a specialist in Spanish and Catalan literature and culture, and she has published widely on a range of writers and literary movements. She is particularly interested in new forms of poetry and performance poetry (the topic of her latest monograph, La perfopoesía española en el Siglo XXI: una revolución poética); Spanish and Catalan contemporary poetry; performance poetry and new forms of poetry; Xarnego/charnego literature; representations of the body in literature; contemporary Spanish fiction; the Spanish poetic market (1980-present).
