David has supervised 15 Research Masters or PhD students to completion, and acted as examiner for over 40 PhD and MD examinations. He has also acted as external examiner for Pharmacy and Pharmacology degree schemes. David was recently external examiner for the Pharmacology degree schemes at the University of Aberdeen and the University of Cambridge, and is current external examiner for the University of Edinburgh.
