About
As a Senior Lecturer in Public Health Informatics and Data Science at the University of Liverpool, I aim to advance the knowledge and practice of public health through innovative research and teaching. With over 8 years of experience in the higher education industry, I have developed a strong portfolio of publications, grants, and collaborations in the fields of epidemiology, statistics, and simulation modelling.
My research focuses on using real-world evidence, data science methods, and simulation models to inform public health policies and interventions for the prevention and control of chronic diseases. Some of my recent projects include assessing the health and economic impacts of added sugar labelling, estimating the health and climate benefits of liquefied petroleum gas expansion, and exploring the preventive policies to reduce cardiovascular burden in England. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to address the current and emerging public health challenges and opportunities. I am always open to discussing new ideas and collaborations with fellow researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders.
