Research
My research focuses on developing inclusive people strategies in organizational and entrepreneurial contexts. I study how organizations use and value their human capital to meet goals while fostering inclusion and avoiding social exclusion within their workforce. I believe that an inclusive approach to people strategy is essential for building better, more sustainable organizations.
Some key questions I explore include:
1. How do organizations handle employee mobility across firms, and how does this affect competitiveness and inclusivity?
2. What causes social exclusion in hiring, internal career paths, and retention practices?
3. What are the strategic and social implications of pay inequality within organizations?
4. What are the risks and benefits of intrapreneurship to firms' overall human capital strategy?
5. When is acqui-hiring an effective human capital strategy?
My research is primarily based on labor market dynamics in Sweden and the Netherlands, drawing on both historical and contemporary data.
